About Healing Hearts of Texas

At Healing Hearts of Texas, therapy is centered around creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, explore what you’re going through, and feel genuinely heard.

Whether you’re navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, ADHD or the challenges of parenting, you don’t have to carry it on your own.

Hi, I’m Karen Juarez, LPC Associate

I work with children (8+), adolescents, and adults, offering both virtual and in-person counseling services designed to meet you where you are.

I have experience supporting individuals navigating:

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Anxiety and emotional overwhelm

  • ADHD and impulsivity

  • Grief and loss

  • Parenting challenges

I also have a passion for working with first responders and individuals who have experienced firsthand or secondary trauma.

A practical, compassionate approach to therapy

My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and focuses on helping you build tools that feel realistic and usable in your everyday life.

My approach integrates:

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Rather than staying stuck in patterns, therapy becomes a space to:

  • better understand your experiences

  • develop coping strategies that actually work

  • move toward meaningful, lasting change

What you can expect in therapy

“I believe in using solution-focused strategies to support individuals and families as they navigate life’s changes and challenges.

My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your emotions and feel heard, supported, and empowered.”
